Wind Club In August, we met at a clearing near Trail C and bottled 73 jars of fresh wind. My sister Dorothy, our club's Accessory Chair, is busy knitting windsocks to sell at the Fall Arts & Crafts Fair. We will also be selling the jars of the wind we've collected so far this year (only $20 each)… over 1,000 jars in all! Imagine what a wonderful holiday gift that will make for your loved ones. Last Christmas, David Zephyr sent a July wind jar to each of his grandchildren who live in Minnesota. They brought the jars to school and were the hit of their lunch hour… kids formed long lines to get a whiff of the warm California air. If you want to join us, bring 10 Mason jars to The Lodge parking lot on the first Wednesday of the month at 9 am. We'll find the best windy spot in the community. ~ Breezy Gale
