Quilting Enthusiasts The Quilting Enthusiasts sincerely hope that you came to see the fabulous quilt show, held in The Lodge Ballroom in September. There were 76 absolutely stunning and amazing "over the top" quilts on display. I, as the "facilitor" of this fine group of creative and friendly women, was extremely impressed with the number of quilts, the quality, and creativeness. The group is a talented group. The Quilting Enthusiasts also raffled off two beautiful quilts. The winners of those quilts will be posted in the next Breeze. I also have to add a "shout- out" to Cindy Graves, Eric Zarr, and the staff who helped setup the pipe and drape and tables. An extra "shout out" and "thank you" to Brandon, Jasper, Luke, Alicia, Danya, and the rest of the staff. Many hands make for light work and we had many hands! In the September article, there was a picture missing of my first quilt (see above), Mary M. Moody-Cox. Remember we meet the first Thursday of the month and we have a sit 'n' sew on the third Thursday. We are looking at combining these two meetings into one in the near future. Please watch for details in the next issue of the Breeze. Happy quilting, until next month. ~ Mary M.
