FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2022 59 I have noticed quite a few new faces on the tennis courts in recent months. Some were playing doubles, some playing singles, and some practicing all on their own. I assume they have just moved to Four Seasons, or have lived here for a while and decided to start playing again, or have finally decided to pick up a new sport now that they have all the time in the world. Regardless of the reason, it's nice to see everyone out there having fun playing the game. If you are one of those new faces, I encourage you to take the next step. Join the Tennis Club. Come out and play with other club members. The club membership listing is ever increasing; it's super easy to meet new friends and start playing with them or maybe even learn how to play. There are many different ways you can do so, including Saturday drills/class, monthly play day, morning and evening games, USTA leagues, club tournaments, BBQs, annual meeting, and dinner, etc. Regardless of your tennis skill level, you will find that you can fit in some, if not all, of these activities quite easily. So, don't be bashful. Don't forget the reason you moved to Four Seasons is to play and have fun. Come out and join us. You never know. Your new best tennis buddy may just be waiting to meet you at the courts! If you'd like to know more about any of the activities mentioned above, please feel free to text, email, or call me. You can also visit our website at https://sites.google.com/view/tennis- fourseasons/home. See you all at The Courts! ~ Stan Lam, (714) 757-2141, slamcpa@gmail. com Tennis Club I'm sure we are all waiting for some cooler weather. Due to the heat, our evening play time is now 7 pm. Once cooler weather arrives in October, we play from 2 to 4 pm. We have a steady group that plays Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There is also a group that plays on Saturday at 8 am when we can get four players. No reservations needed to play any day or time. New to the game? We are happy to help you out. Come on down. ~ Lizzie Carbajal Gallegos, Jpaez111555@gmail.com Paddle Tennis Club Tournament Monthly Play Day Annual Meeting & Dinner
