We are knitters, crocheters, weavers, and cross stitchers. Beginners are welcome. On the second Monday of each month, we do free yarn and supply exchange. Club Fall is upon us, and with that comes a whole gamut of new designs to craft for our decorating pleasure. As was discussed in last month's issue, we gathered our supplies for use on whatever we salvaged from our recyclables, to turn into new décor items for our homes. The Dollar Tree stores are also a great source for finding useful items for these projects. As you can see, when we are tackling a project as a group, it creates quite the chaotic scene! It is always fun to see the many different results, as each individual's creativity and originality comes out. Thanks to Barb Luna for acting as our leader, for giving us tips to succeed with this project, and also for providing numerous tools and napkins to use. Kathy Ankenman also donated some cute materials for anyone looking for different supplies. SAVE THE DATE! Our annual holiday party will be held Monday evening, Dec. 5. As of right now, we plan to meet in the North Clubhouse. Any changes will be published. This is such a fun event, and there are always many surprises, with games, gift exchanges, and who knows what else! We meet from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. In October, we meet Tues., Oct. 4, and Mondays, Oct. 17, 24, and 31. Our monthly luncheon will be on Thurs., Oct. 13 at 11 am in the Atrium. Paper Crafting All ladies interested in sewing are encouraged to attend our Sew What? Club meetings the first and third Tuesdays in the Arts & Crafts Room from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
