YOU NEED TO SCHLEP YOURSELVES TO YIDDISH BINGO!
OY! Do you know what Gonif means? Do you have the Chutzpah
to join the YCC as they play Yiddish Word Bingo on Wed., Oct. 12, at 7
pm in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom?
Each player will be given five game cards to play that contain
some Yiddish terms, some famous Yiddish people or some reference
to Yiddish culture and you'll learn what these Yiddish words mean.
Great fun for our members at only $10 with guests paying $13 to
attend. There will be prizes of course for each game! Coffee and cake
will be served.
Our wonderful Master of Ceremonies will be Lloyd Friedman,
who will delight us with his unprecedented mastery of the Yiddish
language. We will provide everything you need to have an enjoyable
evening with your fellow YCC friends. The only thing missing is you,
bubala!
Checks made out to the YCC are to be delivered to the home of
Maryanne Kirschbaum at 1942 Fairway Oaks no later than Oct. 5.
Sorry, we will not be accepting checks at the door.
