Thank you to the OHCC residents who have elected me to serve on the Board of Directors and I am honored to be your new Treasurer. As promised, I will use my financial background to assist with decisions that are of consequence to the community. The financial statements for the month of July 2022 were published in last month's OHCC Living and reviewed by the Executive Finance Committee on Sept. 1. They were presented at the Master Board meeting on Sept. 15. The financial statements for August 2022 will be reviewed and reported upon in a subsequent issue. | OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2022 | 5 Treasurer's Report By Ann Collins, OHCC Treasurer Wildlife finds their way into the community during the day and evenings. Coyotes and rattlesnakes present the greatest safety concern for residents, staff and guests, as well as pets. Please be cautious when encountering wild animals and contact the front gate for assistance. Community Patrol Services will assess the situation and either provide assistance or contact non-emergency agencies to safely address the issue. Access to the community by guests, contractors and service providers is strictly enforced. If guests, contractors or service providers are not placed on a resident's guest list, they will not be granted access to the community until authorized by the resident. In addition, guests, contractors and service providers driving onto the property must present a valid driver's license. If your guest, contractor, or service provider cannot or will not present a valid driver's license they will be directed to park in front of the Front Gate guardhouse to resolve the issue. Please do your best to ensure your pet has a collar with a pet ID securely fastened to their body. CPS understands that pets can find their way outside of their home and yard. Community Patrol wants to reunite the pet with their owner as quickly as possible. A secure collar with a pet ID makes that easier for everyone. If a pet is recovered without a collar, the CPS procedure is to first contact the OHCC Pet Lover's Club and then contact San Diego County Animal Services, (SDCAS).
