FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2022 53 This class is studying the beautiful Book of Proverbs. Since we are reading and discussing one verse at a time, we studied thoroughly Chapters 9 through 13 in the month of October. The ladies were challenged to reduce each proverb to a one-sentence thought or phrase, and the answers were thoughtful and many of the ladies contributed. We have learned that sexual sin is a focused sin as unacceptable to the Lord, as well as showing us how to determine wicked devices and plans of other humans with whom we come in contact. We also have learned and applied first seeking knowledge, then understanding and resultant wisdom enabling us to use discernment in making moral, financial, familial, and friendship decisions essential to our integrity. We have all learned so much. We will be dark on Nov. 25, the day after Thanksgiving, to enable all the ladies to celebrate family. We are also planning our annual Christmas luncheon and party on Dec. 16 to be held in the RCN building. The theme will be "White Christmas," and there will be entertainment and a fun challenge as well a provided lunch. On Jan. 6, 2023, the first study of the new year, the ladies have been asked to share stories of any God-given miracles they have experienced in their lives. Whenever the ladies share their experiences, we always come away uplifted and so thankful that God is in our lives. If you would like to join "Believe…" Women's Bible Study, please come by The Lodge Game Room any Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 am and join us in studying the Book of Proverbs. In the new year, after we finish Proverbs, we will study the Book of Acts, recorded through the Holy Spirit by the Apostle Luke. Acts consists of the acts of the apostles after the death of Jesus Christ. As always, this is a non- denominational study, and any version of the Bible is acceptable.
