Bring your favorite dish to share and fill your plate with yummy bites. Our September travel meeting had a great turnout to hear our featured guest Matt Maturo, owner of Meridian Guided Travel (MGT) who presented a variety of domestic and overseas travel for 2022 and 2023. Unless otherwise stated, all MGT tours include airfare and transportation pick-up at our Lodge. The meeting also had travel handouts from Adult Customized Tours (ACT) and Silver Lining Travel. ACT offers day trips, short and long trips, both domestic and overseas. Silver Lining Travel offers day trips and two to three-day trips. The luxury motorcoaches are comfortable with storage for walkers, wheelchairs, and electric scooters. The driver will need to be able to lift the scooter onto the coach, so bring your mobility devices and join us. The pick-up locations are as follows: • ACT will pick up at our Lodge. • Meridian Guided Travel will pick-up at our Lodge. • Silver Lining Travel will pick-up at Sun Lakes. When making your reservation, let Jerry know you are a Four Seasons resident and your name will be listed at the main gate to access their parking lot where your vehicle will be safe and secure. The Four Seasons Travel Group is a great place to hear about some really fun trips with many travel options from which to choose. The Travel Group shines a special spotlight on ACT — an exclusive tour on Dec. 8 to the Nixon Library with shopping at Downtown Disney. Our club captain Barbara Dipoma was assisting her husband Richard with medical treatments and other appointments. The Steering Committee decided to cancel our October meeting and instead prepare for our November and December meetings. Our prayers and best wishes are with Richard and his family during his time of recovery. Our November meeting will be on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 6 pm in The Courts Multipurpose Room. Barbara and the Steering Committee are planning to have our members bring their favorite soups to share with other members. It will be great to taste the favorite soups and, maybe, even share those "secret recipes" with each other. The December meeting of our club will be on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 pm in The Courts Multipurpose Room. Our plans are to have a catered holiday dinner for our members. The Steering Committee is also planning a gift exchange for the members which should be a lot of fun for all. More information on the catered holiday dinner and gift exchange will be provided in our December Breeze article. Please put the dates on your calendar. Remember, you do not have to be Italian to join our group and come to our meetings. Club membership is open to all residents. We would love to have you visit with us.
