| OHCC LIVING | NOVEMBER 2022 | 7
Greetings OHCC residents and staff. As a reminder Sundays and
holidays are reserved as "noise free" days. This means that gardeners,
contractors, etc. will be notified by Community Patrol Services (CPS)
officers that if a noise complaint is received by CPS, they will receive
a warning. If a second noise complaint is received for that same day,
the vendor or service provider will be asked to leave the community
and the resident will be cited for violation of rules and regulations.
Vehicles are authorized to park on the street with a valid guest
pass as long as the vehicle is not blocking mailboxes, fire hydrants
and driveways. The resident's property line does not extend into the
street and therefore there is no expectation of ownership.
With the decrease in daylight hours due to the end of Daylight
Saving Time, please be mindful of residents walking throughout
the community especially on Leisure Village Way. Pedestrians are
encouraged to wear either high-visibility clothing or a safety vest to
increase the likelihood you'll be seen by motorists before sunrise and
after sunset.
As always if you have any questions or recommendations, please
feel free to contact the Front Gate for assistance. ~ Scott Lemieux,
Director, OHCC Community Patrol Services
