| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2022 | 23 Seasons Quilters wish all of you a very blessed and happy holiday season. Not as acutely felt as in much colder climates, the appreciation for warmth and of beauty, that only a hand-made quilt can provide, is no less diminished. These photos demonstrate that love for the craft, as for one another. The beauty and detail, lovingly sewn through each individual work of art, is well displayed here. Whether planning to hang it on the wall as art, or wrap up in it with a good book, there is nothing so special as a quilt! (And "No" it is not a blanket!) We will continue to meet through the month of December on the 1st and again on the 15th with lunch in the Bistro, a special time we've all come to appreciate. Sometimes finding the blessings within the storms of life can be challenging, but in sharing the enjoyment of common hobbies together makes for smoother sailing and clearer skies. There truly are blessings in everything, all around us, if we simply choose to look for them. Being thankful for what we do have is the first step toward diminishing what we feel we don't have. And like a quilt, the fabrics and threads come together, creating their own story of peace and tranquility. Confidence we can wrap up in while enduring what life has in store for us. Seasons Quilters meets every first and third Thursday in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information about quilting, activities, fun projects and forming forever friendships through this wonderful hobby of quilting, stop by the Arts & Crafts Room and see what's sewing!
