For our October Watercolor Class, we had our own Taka
Ritchie teach holiday card painting and making. Thank you,
Taka. Everyone really enjoyed your class.
It has taken some time to come back from our year off from
COVID. All art groups, not only here in The Colony, were greatly
impacted by lack of participation. Just seeing the many new
people who have an interest in painting is heartwarming,
and we have also seen many artists coming back! Whether
returning painters or new beginners, welcome to you all!
January will be here before you know it, and we are looking
forward to the new year. We have workshops planned, and we
will be painting many subjects.

Artists of the Month for December are Taka Ritchie and myself, and possibly a surprise artist or two. We will present a themed
holiday trio of paintings for you.
Taka Ritchie is a Master Class Watercolorist who has earned many awards. She has exhibited her artwork numerous times
over the years in our beautiful Clubhouse Lobby, as have I. Both Taka and I have won People's Choice awards, and we are both
instructors for The Colony Watercolor classes.
We hope you enjoy our themed paintings for the holiday season. We wish all of you Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a
