| LIFE IN SOLERA | DECEMBER 2022 | 31
The Sunshine Club will not be meeting in December
but our cards, calls, and visits continue as usual. For
the holidays, our group will be participating in the
"Winter Wish" program, and several of our members
are decorating Christmas stockings to be delivered to
the children residing at Merv Griffin Village.
Our Club is continuing its recycling activities as usual. We accept
all plastic water, juice and tea drink bottles with caps removed and
labels securely attached to their containers, as well as all aluminum
cans (for which you paid the redemption fee). Each recyclable item
must be clearly imprinted on its label or side with the words CA-CRV
or CA CASH REFUND.
Please be aware that plastic containers such
as milk, 100% juices, Clorox, peanuts, coffee and
mouthwash as well as metal cans other than
aluminum for which you have not paid the CRV
fee, are not recyclable and should be put in your
appropriate Waste Management cans.
Our next meeting is Jan. 18, 2023, the third Wednesday of the
month, at 2 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. If you have any questions
about our Club or its activities, please contact Judy Charlick at (951)
769-6465.
We wish you peace, happiness, and health in the new year!
