Ocean Hills Anglers
The Ocean Hills Anglers (OHA) held its last event of
the year at the Old Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos on
a rainy evening Nov. 8. This year $2,000 in prizes were
raffled off and many members and their guests took
home some great gifts. Everyone also enjoyed some good Italian
food and desserts. On Oct. 13/14 - 10 Ocean Hills Anglers and three
guests went on the last fishing trip of the season. Captain Chuck of
the Voyager traveled south into Mexican waters ~ 15 miles offshore
of Ensenada. Early morning fishing was a little slow, however around
8:30 am Captain Chuck found a nice school of Yellowfin Tuna. The
tuna hung around the boat for 1 1/2 hours and all anglers on the trip
brought home limits of YFT (five each). Jackpot was
won by new member David Eddings who caught a 20
lb. YFT.
