We look forward to more memories and fun in the new year. This year we also lost a lot of people who entertained us through the years with their music and acting talent. Adam Wade, age 87, Take Good Care Of Her Our karaoke this month will be on Fri., Dec. 23, 5:30 to 9 pm in the South Clubhouse. Let's have one more evening of music and good fun as we close out 2022. REMINDER: Our December gathering is Dec. 3 featuring the duo of Lori Battaglia-Bell and Lisa Rose, for those who have signed up and paid. Our November get-together featured our own little variety show of tap dancers, Tip Top Tap, and hula dancers, Kahula Leilani, along with Lloyd Friedman singing and a little bit of comedy. The dancers included Jean Svarvar, Penny Skog, Olga Marquette and Kathy Reynolds. We had different combinations of tap, hula, singing and laughter. Those attending loved the variety and the talent. Thank you ladies — and Lloyd, too. You were wonderful, entertaining, and greatly appreciated! Come join or just visit our monthly gathering to socialize, enjoy a catered meal, first rate entertainment and to be pampered. It is for 80 years olds and better, along with their spouses or significant others and/or guests (no matter their ages). But you're welcome if you're close in age as well. We do have people joining before their 80th birthdays… I promise, I don't check your ID and we welcome you! You can attend once without joining to actually give us a try first. We do have a good time. Our January gathering will be on Sat., Jan. 7. Our entertainers are Sun Lakes own husband/wife team of Mike and Lee Stone, Tin Man's Heart. The last time they performed for us Mike promised to share more of his own songs as he is such a talented song writer and he gave us just a tease of his work last time. The deadline for signing up for that one is Dec. 31. It will be at 3 pm in the South Clubhouse so don't forget to get your checks to Donna Harrington at 5393 Riviera. Please make your checks out to 80s Plus Club, dinners are $16 each and our dues are $10 per year. We are now accepting dues for 2023 if you haven't already paid them.
