| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2022 | 53 Executive Men's Golf The Executive Men's Golf Club wishes all Sun Lakes residents Happy Holidays and a Prosperous New Year. During the month of December, we are not conducting tournaments, however we do have exclusive use of the Executive Course on Friday mornings. Also, December is the perfect time to enroll or renew your membership. The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the challenging 3,016-yard SCGA rated Executive Course from the gold tees. We have a monthly tournament on the third Friday to challenge your skills against your fellow club members followed by lunch and prize giveaways in the North Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Come join us! Dues are $20 for annual club membership with an active SCGA GHIN Membership, or $56 for both membership in the Club and your SCGA Membership. If you play golf often, sign up for one of the 2023 annual membership golf rate options. The 2023 annual fees and application are available in our Pro Shop. Championship Course membership includes play on the Executive Course at no additional charge. Membership fees for 2023 will remain the same, $76 ($40 for our Men's Club, and $36 to SCGA to maintain a GHIN handicap). Submit your application and membership fees before Dec. 15 to insure you are listed in our membership directory and that you can continue playing in our tournaments next year. Application and membership fees must be received before Dec. 31 to prevent you from being removed from the SCGA GHIN Program. Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
