Young at Heart Well, we now have our beautiful fall weather; it's my absolute favorite time of year. We had such a fun time at our Halloween Fright Night. I would like to give a big thank you to Pat and Michelle Carter for putting on such a great party with all the fabulous decorations. We had a Murder Mystery play, Malachi Stout's Family Reunion. Lee Stone was the narrator and Michelle Carter was the Angel of Death. The actors in the play were: Jeff and Theresa Van Haren, Shannon and Dennis McKinney, Michael Stone, Pat Carter, Bob and Michele Walter and Sally Jo Schwartz. Thank you to all who participated. There was a table contest to see which table could guess who the murderer was. Bob Walter played Malachi Stout as the dead guy and Sally Jo Schwartz played his wife. Guess what? The butler didn't do it, the wife did. There was a Halloween costume contest for the scariest, funniest, most creative and cutest. There were games, food and amazing costumes. Our Dueling Piano event was a huge hit. We had over 230 members and non-members who attended this event. Donny Scott and Steve Haas had us clapping, singing, dancing and laughing with their fun entertainment and humor. Mingle and Jingle: Join us Dec. 6 at 4 pm for the Christmas Open House in the South Clubhouse. This is an open house for all of our Young at Heart members. Come and enjoy drinks, food and music. A flyer will be sent to our members with all pertinent information. It's that time of year again dues are due. It's still only $10 per person, this is such a bargain. For those of you that just joined recently, your dues will be carried over till Dec. 31, 2024. Please feel free to contact Michele Walter at (951) 202-8009 or crystalwater@dc.rr.com if you have any questions or would like to host an event. We welcome any ideas and suggestions. Our Board would like to wish each and every one of you a very happy, joyful and blessed Christmas. 22 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2022 | We are dark in December.
