FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2022 15
At our November meeting, our guest speakers were Officer Robert
Loza of the Beaumont Police Department and Marcedes Cashmer,
the City of Beaumont Public Information Officer (PIO). The topic
was holiday safety which included fraud, scams, and general safety
tips. The residents asked a number of questions of the speakers who
benefited from the experience of Officer Loza and Marcedes Cashmer.
We are still in the holiday season so be careful while shopping
and driving through Beaumont and Four Seasons. If you get a
telephone call or email from someone claiming to be from your bank
or any financial institution, please do not give them confidential
information. If you doubt that they represent the bank, please call
the bank to verify. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Our next meeting will be on Dec. 14 at 10 am in the Ballroom.
The Steering Committee is planning to have members of Caltrans as
guest speakers, and to have them discuss the I-10, progress of their
projects, traffic, and anticipated construction completion.
On Jan. 11, 2023 at 10 am, our guest speakers will be from the
Union Pacific Railroad. Hopefully we will be able to discuss the
length of time the trains stop in the Beaumont area and the traffic
backup caused by the trains.
Please slow down while driving through our Four Seasons
community. The speed limit is 30 mph on Four Seasons Circle, and
25 mph on residential streets, including Green Creek Trail. Come to a
full stop at our stop signs.
Thank you to our Block Captains and all Neighborhood Watch
members for all that you do to keep our community safe.
Wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday season. ~ Jerry
