20 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2023 | Happy New Year, everyone! The Four Seasons Ladies Club capped off 2022 with a final meeting in late November and a holiday luncheon soon after. The luncheon was held Dec. 6 at Rockin' K Ranch, with 33 members in attendance. The gavel (decorated for the season, of course) was officially passed from then president Debbie Foster to our 2023 president, Julie Rodriguez. In addition to a wonderful meal, there were never-ending games interspersed with raffle drawings. Everyone won something. Between the holiday decorations set up by the restaurant and the table decor provided by the Ladies Club Holiday Luncheon Committee, the event was quite festive. What a spirited group! The luncheon was preceded by our last meeting of the year, held Nov. 28. It was at that time that Debbie introduced the Board for 2023. New officers include Julie Rodriguez – President, Maggie Coleman – VP, Kristine Chilcote – Secretary, and Sheri Cooley – Newsletter Editor. Lynne Arias agreed to serve a second term as Treasurer. The Board is hoping to set up trips and activities for the entire year early in 2023, recognizing that other opportunities may pop up as we go along. (Who says we have to limit ourselves to just one outing a month?) So they're looking for ideas now! While Ladies Club events can be scheduled for any day of the month, we hold our meetings on the fourth Monday at 2 pm in the Ballroom. All Four Seasons women are invited to join. After the meeting, the group played a number of games (do you notice a theme here?), from ones that depended on knowing a lot about Thanksgiving to those won by sheer luck! Prizes were awarded. Cookies and drinks were provided by the membership. Yum! Two delightful events rounded out the year for this group. What a great way to end 2022! FS Ladies Club
