FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2023 29 The generosity and compassion of everyone in Four Seasons, both residents and FirstService staff, never ceases to amaze me. The steady stream of condolences and offers of assistance following Hal's passing and again when, shortly thereaer, Joni was hospitalized were welcome and heartwarming. It has been a rough year made bearable by the kindness of friends. Kirk, Joni, and I would like to thank everyone who found time to attend Hal's memorial service and/or who sent us their thoughts and prayers either through email, cards, or flowers. Special thanks to Dan Hazeltine for singing at the service and to Harold Hinkle for playing the piano. We would also like to thank the members of the FirstService staff who went above and beyond their duties to ensure all went well during the service; to Cindy for her moral support and help in setting up the program; to Justin for his technical proficiency in producing the slideshow and pictures. To the staff who changed the room set up so quickly. Thanks to Stacy Dean who catered the wonderful food at the service. Thanks to all who worked both behind the scene and those who worked with us to make Hal's service so warm and well done. This expression of gratitude is much lengthier than intended, but it had to be in order for us to express our sincere thank you to all the wonderful friends we have made here in Four Seasons and for all the support they have given us in our trying time.
