FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2023 5 Message From The Board Happy New Year to all our residents. May 2023 be a healthy and safe year for all of us here at Four Seasons. Our new HOA dues go into effect on Jan. 1, 2023, so if you use automatic payment through your bank, please make the necessary adjustments if you have not done so already. The amounts for the dues in the Master Plan, Front Yard Cost Center, and the three plans for the Springdales have been listed in the Daily Report. For additional information, contact our management company at the RCN. HOA dues for 2023 are as follows: • Master Plan: $268 per month • Front Yard Cost Center: $268 + $76 = $344 Springdales by Plan • Plan 1: $268 + $122.90 = $390.90 • Plan 2: $268 + $133.47 = $401.47 • Plan 3: $268 + $152.01 = $420.01 The fees have gone up and reflect the increased costs the Association will pay for our service contracts, insurance on our facilities, landscaping needs, utilities, and general maintenance. The budget was prepared by the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors and was finalized after a thorough review, often line by line, to minimize costs. By the time the January Breeze magazine is in your mailbox, our Annual Budget will have been delivered as well. The Board of Directors are very sad to say that during November one of our sitting Board members, David Sweet, passed away after a struggle with cancer. David was a valuable member of the Board and participated in reviews, voting, and Zoom meetings until just before he passed away. David's passing was a great loss to his loving family, but also to his Four Seasons family who loved and respected him. Our prayers go out to David and his family as he starts his way home and is at peace and no longer in pain. Semper Fi Marine. The Board was fortunate enough to identify a very qualified and experienced replacement for the Board of Directors. Claudia Rozzi was selected by the Board of Directors to complete David's term, and she accepted the position. Claudia has extensive experience in contracts, and was Chair of our Finance Committee among other volunteer areas serving Four Seasons. Thank you Claudia for accepting the position. The Board of Directors meet on the second Thursday of each month in The Lodge Ballroom. Our next meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023. We also have an informal meeting at the RCN Building on the third Wednesday of each month where residents can discuss topics and ask questions of the Board members in attendance. During an informal session Board members respond and participate in a question and answer period the more formal sessions do not permit.
