FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2023 53
Happy New Year everybody! It was a difficult December with
Covid, flu, and what-not running rampant, postponing club parties
and canceling other events. However, we trudged on and enjoyed the
holidays as best we could. Now, for the fun part of it all, we get to
take all those decorations down and put them all away for next year.
I'm looking forward to getting back to our regular routine of playing
horseshoes every Wednesday morning at 9 am at the beautiful
Summit venue. Try something new in 2023. Come on out and join us.
I promise you won't be disappointed. Our contacts are Ron Erickson
at (951) 846-3288, rejlerickson@sbcglobal.net and Gary Christi

Horseshoe Club
Bocce Club
Happy New Year to all. I'd like to thank all of our Bocce players for their
continued support for our group. We had a good year with some new players
joining us throughout the year. Looking forward to 2023.
Bocce Ball plays at The Summit on two courts overlooking the surrounding
valley. We play Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 am. All are welcome to join us and
have some fun.
If you want to learn the game, please come to The Summit. For info, contact
me at hanknegrete16@yahoo.com or call/text (909) 747-7087. ~ Hank Negrete
Ladies Putters
Come and experience putting at The Courts on
Mondays at 4 pm and Fridays at 9 am. If you would
like to try us out, we have putters and balls. We enjoy
each other's company while putting for about 45
minutes. Hope to see you there. ~ Susan Wilson,

Fishing Club
You've got to be kidding me. I got a virus in November and I was
still sick in December. Now is the time to trout fish and I have not
wet a line. My fishing friends have been calling me to go fishing and
I can't even get out of bed. One way or the other I am going to go
fishing this year.
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and send a Happy New
Year's wish to all. Hopefully all my fishing buddies got new rods and
reels under the tree. I will be 71 in March and I hope I can still drive
to fishing spots. I may have to get one of those electric scooters so
I can get around the lakes. As long as I can throw my bait in the
water, I will be in tall cotton. Tight lines to all my fishing friends and
remember, never take good health for granted. ~ Richard Carrasco,
