FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2023 55 As the old adage goes… time flies when you're having fun. Well then, I must be having a lot of fun living here in Four Seasons. I can hardly believe the year 2023 is already upon us! So, I hope you all feel the same way. Due to the pandemic in the past three years, the holidays didn't really feel like holidays at all. However, Thanksgiving and Christmas in 2022 seemed more similar to pre-pandemic years. People were out Christmas shopping and enjoyed meals with family and friends, just like old times. Hopefully you all enjoyed the holidays and quality family time as much as I did. With that, here's wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2023. Cheers and let's play tennis! See you all at The Courts. Visit our website for more info: https:// sites.google.com/view/tennis-fourseasons/home. ~ Stan Lam, (714) 757-2141, slamcpa@gmail.com Tennis Club Happy New Year! We currently have a group that gets together for paddle tennis at 2 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Again, anyone can get a group together for a fun day of paddle tennis any day during normal Lodge hours. Reservations are not needed. We are happy to teach anyone wanting to try paddle. We have a great group of folks. Some of us also play tennis and pickleball. We look forward to seeing you in 2023. ~ Lizzie Carbajal Gallegos, Jpaez111555@gmail.com Paddle Tennis December was a special time for the club as we held our inaugural Christmas Gala in the RCN Main Room. More than 60 members and guests were able to attend this black tie event. The tables, in a black and gold palette with a decorative centerpiece, were designed and made by Vicki Manderino and Janine Rohrbacker. A delicious meal was catered by our own Bistro at Four Seasons staff, and we were entertained by a fantastic Sinatra Tribute Show. Thanks to Dave Rohrbacker for providing music for the evening. Also, we would like to thank our sponsor Power Pros Pest Control for their donation to our Gala. Our winter pool volleyball season is in full swing, meeting indoors at The Summit on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm. We are always looking for new players. All ages, heights, and skill levels are welcome. If you're looking for a low impact activity and having fun and laughs with your friends and neighbors, then water volleyball is the sport for you. Come join us! ~ Mel Harkin, odeegos@yahoo.com Water Volleyball Club Christmas Gala raffle prizes
