FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2023 59 Here's hoping that everyone had a safe, healthy, memorable, and happy holidays and are looking forward to a fabulous 2023. We continue to play shuffleboard on Monday and Saturday mornings at 9 am at the four new courts, located in a quiet setting at The Lodge, behind the swimming pool and next to the paddle tennis courts. All of the end-of-the-year holidays probably included much eating, so joining in an easy activity that provides a little exercise and fresh air, could be exactly what we all need. Shuffleboard is an easy game to learn and one can become proficient at playing this game fairly quickly. Our games usually last about an hour or a little more. We choose different teams each time that we play. That allows us to keep the competition challenging and the games interesting. We play for fun, but, of course, everyone likes to win. We have a great group of residents who play regularly, and we are always happy to have a new player join our "shuffleboard family." So after your morning coffee and/or breakfast, come out and join us. Again, get some fresh air, a little exercise, and some socializing with other like minded residents, by joining us on Monday and/or Saturday mornings at 9 am. We are especially excited to welcome new players and encourage some of our former players to return. Looking back at 2022, we had a ball together. We have new members, continuing members, and guests who have all contributed to our outdoors fun. We have room for you! Our members' 4x4 rigs run the gamut — Jeeps, trucks, Hummers, stock, lifted, whatever — come check us out. Thank you all for enjoying the great outdoors with us and helping make our 4x4 Club a success. We look forward to a great 2023 with a few camp outs and several day runs. If our group sounds like fun, please join us. We meet on the second Tuesday and plan a day run for the second Thursday of each month. January's meeting date is the 9th and our day run will be the 12th.
