You will be able to pick up your 2024 room reservation packets at our mandatory February meeting. This meeting is for the individuals in charge of the Districts, Clubs, Groups as well as Class Instructors. It's a very important meeting that will discuss issues that have come up and changes that may be taking place for the 2024 reservations. COMEDY NIGHT Fri., Feb. 10, 7 pm, doors open at 6 pm, Main Clubhouse Ballroom, $16 pp. Enjoy an evening of laughs with Corporate Comedy Entertainment, featuring three great comedians from the L.A. area who are sure to make you laugh. LIFESTREAM BLOOD DRIVE Mon., Feb. 20, 7 to 11 am, Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. To support Lifestream Blood Bank, we will be hosting another much- needed blood drive. The donated blood goes to local hospitals in our area such as Beaver Medical, San Gorgonio, and Loma Linda. Our goal is to have 30 people to donate. Time slots are limited and walk- ins will be accepted based on availability. The blood drive will take place in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. SWINGIN' SIXTIES… TOP OF THE POPS Fri., March 3, show is at 7:30 pm, doors open at 7 pm, $20pp, Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Join us as Premeditated Productions, Palm Springs, presents a must-see tribute to Dusty Springfield, Peter & Gordon, Chad & Jeremy, Simon & Garfunkel, Wilson Pickett, James Brown, and more. You are sure to hear great music and enjoy great comedy from these award-winning artists with their hit songs for the Tops Of The Pops. Will I See You in September? (more like March). Sun Lakes residents will have a variety of homemade crafts and goodies for sale. Crafts include jewelry, wood working, paintings, clothes, knitted items, and more. Join us in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom for this spectacular yearly event which is sure to blow you away with the all the crafty talent that the residents of Sun Lakes possess. If you would like to be a vendor at this year's Spring Craft Show, the Lottery starts on Mon., Jan. 30, and goes through Sun., Feb. 5. Table locations will be drawn on Mon., Feb. 6 at 9:30 am in the Multipurpose Room. SWITCHBACK CONCERT Fri., March 31, show is at 6:30 pm, doors open at 6pm, $20pp, Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Back to Sun Lakes by popular demand, Switchback is the award-winning duo of Brian FitzGerald and Martin McCormack. Switchback draws on traditional Celtic music and original Americana songs that reflect their Irish heritage and Midwestern roots. Playing an exciting mix of mandolin, guitar, and bass, their harmonies have won them comparisons to famous duos, such as the Louvin Brothers, Everly Brothers, and Simon and Garfunkel.
