Before the start of the new year, a
little review of our organization might
be of interest to Sun Lakers who are
considering joining us. The Creative
Writers began over 20 years ago,
meeting in the homes of members. We have successfully published
and sold two books written by our members in 2010 and 2021.
Individual members have published everything from books of
poetry to podcasts. Novels and short story collections, along with
satire and weekly columns, have also been produced.
Today, we have grown and now meet
in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose
Room. Starting in January, 2023, our
moderator, Roger Smith, has arranged
for two sessions per month. They are on
the first Monday of each month from 1 to 3 pm (in January, the 2nd)
and the third Thursday, from 3 to 5 pm (in January, the 19th).
We would love to have you join us in the new year whether you
are a published professional or simply a person who would like to
produce a history for their family. For more info, call Roger at (951)

I love Sun Lakes, but most of all I love the people here for sharing your stories and
sending your friends and neighbors to sign and support the need for dog parks. Our
petitions and proposal will be shared with the Board very soon. Here's to you… May
you always be the wonderful supportive animal lovers you are, and I hope to see you
at the dog park!

interest by calling Barbara Searcy at (951) 663-3382. You will be teamed with a volunteer who will get in touch with you to arrange reassuring
daily contact.
