| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | JANUARY 2023 | 53 Executive Men's Golf The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We play every Friday morning on the SCGA rated Executive Course. On the third Friday of the month, we have a tournament to test your skill against other members. Additionally, following the tournament is a lunch open to all members for a nominal fee. This month we will meet and check in at the North Clubhouse Pro Shop at 8:30 am for a 9 am shotgun tee time. The January tournament will be a Two-Man Scramble (pick your partner) on Fri., Jan. 20. Come join us! Dues are only $20 with an active GHIN. New members, without an active GHIN, please add $36 for SCGA membership. Membership forms are available in the North Clubhouse Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. You can also contact our membership chairman Bill Pergola at (951) 330-0102 or better yet, stop by our table during Activities Day in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom on Sat., Jan. 14 between 9 am and 12 pm. We look forward to you joining us. Executive Men's Golf Club welcomes its 2023 Board of Directors! Men's Golf Join us on the Championship Course on Wednesdays for Men's Day. If you play golf often, sign up for one of the 2023 annual membership golf rate options. The 2023 Annual Fees and Application are available in our Pro Shop. Championship Course Membership includes play on the Executive Course at no additional charge. In November 2022, the Board of Directors held their Annual Organizational Meeting. The Board Members were elected to the following positions: President – Ron Smith, Vice President – Jim Smith, Secretary – Tom Hyatt, Treasurer – Tom Gardner, Handicap/ SCGA Delegate – Rod Kemp, Membership – Steve VonRajcs, Publicity – Kevin Johnson, Social – John Jones, Tournaments – Tony Browne. Tournament Schedule for January 2023: Jan. 4 – Four-Man Scramble (ABCD Computer Draw, Jan. 21 – 1 Man Scramble. 8:30 am shotgun start for all tournaments through March, 2023. Don't forget to pick up a Men's Golf Club Membership Application Form in the Pro Shop and submit your 2023 fees. Membership fees for 2023 will remain the same, $76 ($40 for our Men's Club, and $36 to SCGA to maintain a GHIN Handicap). Application and Membership Fees must have been received before Dec. 31, 2022, to prevent you from being removed from the SCGA GHIN Program.
