My garden in winter (on a particularly chilly day)
Broccoli plants
Snow peas and various lettuce plants
Califlower plants
Vegetables can be grown year-round in Beaumont. I began my garden 19 years ago. Such veggies as tomatoes, pepper, beans,
and squash can be grown in the summer while lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, and peas can be grown in winter. Winter cold in the
30s and with snow is not an issue for winter vegetables (see photo). I plant my winter vegetables in mid to late October.
