Club dues are only $5 per month. The club puts on several dinners each year and monthly "fun" tournaments. I hope to see you on the courts this year! Racquet Club By Karen Nichols, 619-550-8194 A little extra love never hurt anyone! If you love having fun, love getting in shape and love meeting new friends, you will love pickleball at The Colony. Not only is it the fastest growing sport in the U.S., but it has grown so much that many of the national competitions are being aired on major networks. And, of course, you can always find everything pickleball, from lessons to amazing games, on YouTube. If you would prefer live sports entertainment, we have monthly tournaments on the first Saturday morning of each month. In December, we invited our pickleball friends from Four Seasons to join us for four hours of friendly competition. Ten players from each community brought their "A" game and smiles and played their hearts out. Our next Four Seasons competition will take place in February. Watching pickleball is fun, but the best way to enjoy the game is by joining us on the courts. If you would like free lessons, please contact me, and I will be happy to teach you the basics of the game. Hope to see you soon! Pickleball By Kathy Lewis, 951-412-0006 At right is your new 2023 Racquet Club Board. If you want to learn to play or just watch and socialize with some nice friendly people, come out on Thursdays from 2 to 4 pm. Everyone gets a chance to play! Just bring your snacks and choice of beverage and join in the fun! Water and ice are always provided. Bocce By Jeanne Bender, 949-295-5412
