New Year's Eve Gala

Hooked on Books is the name given to the reading group at Solera Diamond
Valley. It's a group of residents who meet once a month to discuss the current
"book of the month" and to comment on other books as well. Thus far, for
2023, we have decided to read the following books in the order listed. If
you would like to pick one up at any time and attend a meeting, please, I
encourage you to do so. The Hooked on Books meetings take place on the
second Wednesday of each month at 1:30 pm. Just after lunch and giving you
enough time to get back home to prepare dinner or get ready to go out.
Jan. 11 – Sister's in Law by Linda Hirshman
Feb. 8 – Shelter In Place by Nora Roberts
March 8 – Code Girls: The Untold Story of the American Women Code
Breakers of WWII by Liza Mundy
April 12 – The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn
May 10 – How Much of These Hills is Gold by C Pam Zhang
June 14 – The Unknown Beloved by Amy Harmon
The reading list for the last half of the year will be posted in May. As a
group we will, again, decide what to read from July to November (leaving
time in December to get out and mingle).
