Farewell to Four Seasons Friends 70 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2023 Harold Raymond Welker, beloved brother of six siblings and husband of Kirk Freyermuth was born in Detroit, Michigan, the first child of Joseph and Ariel Welker. In 1959, he moved to California and served his country in both the U.S. Navy and Marines. After his discharge, we went to work at UCLA Medical Center, rising the position of day shift supervisor in the Respiratory Therapy department. He and his husband lived for over 50 years in the San Fernando Valley before moving to Beaumont in August 2018, following his sister Irene Welker. He passed on 05 November here at Four Seasons Beaumont after a short illness at age 83. Another of his sisters, Joni Truelsen, was with him at his passing. He was passionate about films and theatre, particularly Broadway musicals. He is mourned by all who knew him here as he was always outgoing.
