FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2023 25 Inspection Report: On Dec. 19, the Conservancy Committee walked the far east end of the Edison Easement starting near the Crooked Creek Bridge at Four Seasons Circle and walked east to Highland Springs. We then walked all of Trail F and completed a circumference walk around the meadow behind Sams Canyon and Lucinda Terrace, including walking along the narrow landscaping trail at the bottom of the Lucinda Terrace slope along the fence line at the far southeast end of the Conservancy. Items of note: At the Crooked Creek Bridge – little or no trash in the waterway on either side of bridge. One new broken tree branch at the edge of the conservancy area closest to the west side of Four Seasons Circle at the Crooked Creek Bridge just south of the traffic circle. The broken tree limb is not impeding HOA property. Water was flowing slowly. ~ Len Tavernetti, ltavernetti@hotmail.com Conservancy ARC applications are down which means a little reprieve for ARC members. Even though our homeowners aren't as active with making changes in their yards or the outside of their homes, we still need to approve all changes you intend to make and will continue to meet the first and third Wednesday of each month regardless of how few applications are received. Hopefully all homeowners understand that ARC is a resource to help make improvements and changes while staying within the established guidelines. Just a reminder that the statewide changes to electrical rates will become effective April 15, 2023. To qualify for the existing rates, any new solar installations must be approved and scheduled prior to April 14, 2023. Please be advised that Beaumont requires ARC approval before the city can process any permits. If you plan to install solar, plan accordingly. Your application must be received by ARC for review on one of the following dates: Feb. 15, 2023 • March 15, 2023 • Feb. 1 2024 • March 1, 2024. It is unlikely that both ARC and Beaumont can process any applications received by ARC after these dates. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me, or visit one of our meetings. ~ Steve Cooley, (801) 815-5302, cooleyaudit@ gmail.com Architectural Review Committee Facilities Committee Our last meeting started with homeowner comments questioning the cost of the game room chairs, another homeowner representing a large group requesting a volleyball court, and another wanting direction on an issue involving the Springdale area. We welcomed new member Greg Gall to the committee. Three bids were received for the Game Room table upgrade/ replacement. The committee approved a bid to restore the existing tables. The committee voted to approve the purchase of replacement chairs for the Salon. The hydraulics for the original chairs have failed. The committee nominated Lila Bonner for Chair and Regina Farmer for Co-chair. The Facilities Committee is looking for members of our community to join our committee. Please contact me or attend our monthly meetings. The Facilities Committee meets the second Wednesday of the month at 9 am in the RCN Conference Room. ~ Lila Bonner, ladybonner@msn.com View from Windmill bridge showing branches clogging Potrero Creek
