FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2023 55 Crafty Cardmakers In February, we will only have one meeting. We will meet on Feb. 24 at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. We will make three cards and the charge will be $10. We will provide all materials and the envelope so your card will be ready to mail! You only need to bring scissors and glue. Come and join us for a fun filled afternoon and meet lots of nice people! Please remember to RSVP to the address below by Feb. 17 so we will have enough kits for everyone. Email Patty Grana at Granamemories@roadrunner. com or call (626) 862-2652. ~ Maryalice Chorba On Jan. 6 we began our 10th year of "Believeā€¦" Women's Bible Study with stories from eight ladies who volunteered to share a miracle they experienced in their lives. Each lady testified about how the Lord has blessed them through their miracle. From Jan. 13 until the first part of April, we will study the remainder of the Book of Proverbs, beginning with Proverb 19 to Proverb 31. On April 7, however, we will pause to have an Easter lesson. After we finish Proverbs, we will begin the next series: a study of Acts in the New Testament. If any of you beautiful Four Seasons women would like to join our Bible study, please come by The Lodge Game Room any Friday from 10:30 to 11:45 am and join us! Any version of the Bible is acceptable, and this is a non-denominational study. This is an awesome group of women, and we hope to see you soon! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine, (951) 922-6829 or egcellent@msn.com "Believeā€¦" Women's Bible Study Bereavement Group We made it through the holidays. How did we do? When we are dealing with a loss, the holidays can stir up many memories and emotions. The memories may make us smile but with that remembering, tears and sadness may come. Valentine's Day comes this month. Depending on whether or not you celebrated it or how you celebrated it, it too can bring up memories. First and foremost, allow yourself to feel whatever it is you do feel. Maybe you will have wonderful memories of previous Valentine's Days. If so, enjoy them. Maybe you will be sad for the loss of what you had. Accept that and go with the emotions. Did you have any traditions at the holiday? You might want to carry on with them or you might want to start doing something completely different. Anything you choose to do is fine. In some other cultures, giving someone something sweet is an act of friendship. Maybe you have some friends you'd like to let know how much you appreciate them. Or, maybe you'd like to get yourself flowers or candy to remind yourself of how special you are. Give yourself a spa day, go to the movies, or even volunteer somewhere. The choices are yours. Holidays will be different but they can be enjoyed. The Bereavement Group is here so you can share your loss with others who have gone through their own. You are always welcome. We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month from 1 to 3 pm in Room 3 RCN. For more information please contact Becky KG at (951) 524-0215 or email her at beckykg_1@yahoo.com. ~ Becky Kotzin-Gustafson
