Let's spread some sunshine! Expressing Gratitude Thank you so much to whoever turned my headband into the North Clubhouse! My head is warm again, and, I'm so grateful to you. ~ Lucie A. Ramsey My experience doesn't have anything to do with a resident, but with a Securitas employee. Jonathan Roman was assisting one of my residents on Pine Valley. Her husband was taking down Christmas lights and fell off the ladder. He was taken to San Gorgonio for tests and thankfully he suffered no injuries and was back home that night. In her husband's absence, Mr. Roman stayed with the wife while she ate her dinner that was picked up and delivered by some employees from the local fire department; that too was incredibly kind because it was the second fire truck that came to her house within an hour. That same week, Mr. Roman assisted another one of my residents who has been having some cognitive issues. Apparently, she drove over to the guard station and Mr. Roman sat with her for an hour trying to help her with her cell phone. After she left, she became confused and got lost. Mr. Roman followed until she got into her house safely. I had never met Mr. Roman before the first incident, but he went above and beyond what most would. I refer to these residents as my residents because I am the delegate for District 4 where these two incidents occurred, and I genuinely care about them. Mike Romero also goes above and beyond what most would. He too has assisted in several incidents in my district. I believe we are very fortunate to have these two young caring men who really care about the residents here in Sun Lakes.
