Tickets will be $15 per person. We hope to see you there! Starting the year off looking to get out, exercise and do something different? Well, here is your chance to do it in 2023… Tap Dancing! Jeann invites everyone to come to her 11 am Beginning Tap Dance Class at the North Clubhouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She has both "performing" and "nonperforming" classes. Tap Dance Country Western Dance We all will be happy when this winter is over and we can get back to longer days and warmer weather. February is the shortest month of the year but it's still too long. We are now learning some new and more challenging dances. Our usual dance lessons are on Mondays, Feb. 6, 20 and 27 at the South Clubhouse starting at 6:30 pm. What about Mon., Feb. 13? Since it is close to Valentine's Day we will have a dance party with lots of dancing, refreshments, decorations. Come and enjoy the evening in the South Clubhouse starting at 6:30 pm. Do you like to sing? Join our Barbershop Chorus! Sheet music and learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys. We all have a song in our hearts waiting to come out. For more information, contact Jim Langford at (951) 769-6065. Barbershop Chorus Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is open to membership for any Sun Lakes resident. The Chorale has five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Basses, and Baritones. Practice sessions are held on Mondays from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each concert, additional practices for individual sections are held. Our 2023 Spring Concert Series will be held on Fri. and Sat., May 5 and 6 at 7 pm, and Sun., May 8 at 3 pm. They started in 1996 as a marching group to perform in the Fourth of July Cart Parade, and the Stagecoach Days Parade. Today, the group does Fashion Shows, stage work for Sun Lakes events, military for the Fourth of July, fun line dances, and a partner dance number. Any resident, male or female, may participate. Class schedules are available each month for Wednesday and Friday classes. Take only the classes you are interested in. All performances will be at Sun Lakes. Basic Style is precision.
