| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | FEBRUARY 2023 | 35 THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT 2023 – They Met at the Texas State Fair Our much anticipated, annual show features many multi-talented singers, dancers, actors, comedians and carnival games. This year's original production will be performed Feb. 23-25 at 7 pm and Sun., Feb. 26 at 3pm. The State Fair theme will feature songs from late 60s, early 70s, and today. Tickets are $15 pp (children $10) and reservation forms are available on our website and in the Main Clubhouse Lobby. We will also be selling tickets in the Main Clubhouse from Feb. 13-22 (Monday - Friday) from 10 am to 2 pm. Audience will be seated at tables and it will be open seating. For ticket information, contact Claudia at (818) 421-2865. ACTOR'S PLAYHOUSE begins March 7 at 6:30 pm in the Ballroom. No experience needed. We will meet most Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. You are invited to this first session to learn more about this project. We will be preparing scenes and learning improvisation skills to perform for various clubs and organizations in our community. The Friendship Club presents Jordan Bennett with Music of the Beatles on Sun., Feb. 12. This unique and multi-faceted entertainer with a big, beautiful voice understands how to captivate and surprise an audience. All of Jordan's shows contain some of his signature bizarre inventions that will make you roar with laughter because Jordan began his career performing with some of the greatest comedians of our time. He has been described as having "a wicked sense of humor." As an arranger and songwriter, he has the capacity to make each performance a unique experience. His concert is an event you will not soon forget. Sun Lakes residents are invited to join the Friendship Club and enjoy Vegas-style entertainment up close and personal. Membership fee is $25 per person for the year. Tickets for each show are $25 for members, and $30 for non-resident guests. Doors open at 6 pm with open seating, and the show begins at 7 pm.
