FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2023 9 By Cindy Graves Top of the mornin' to ya! It's March and we're starting out with The Swingin' 60s show put on by the Social Committee on Saturday, March 4; tickets are only $25 each. Check out the Social Committee's article to get the full scoop. You definitely don't want to miss this one! On Friday, March 10 from 5 to 7 pm in the RCN, join art teacher Rob Kelman for a Wine & Paint Party. If this sounds like fun, you don't have to be a real artist, just someone who is willing to play with paint and give it a try. The price for admission is only $25 and you're welcome to bring your favorite wine or beverage. Call Rob Kelman at (951) 616-4111 to reserve your place before March 6. Space is limited to the first 40 people. Calling all shoppers of unique, beautiful, and handcrafted gifts! The Spring Craft Boutique is March 11 from 9 am to 2 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. As most of you know, there are plenty of special, one-of-a-kind items to impress your friends and loved ones… don't forget that you deserve something special too! There are also tons of door prizes being given away just for showing up. See you there. St. Patrick's Day is on Friday, March 17 and Four Seasons will be starting the festivities early this year. The Golf-Cart Parade line-up will begin at 3 pm in The Lodge parking lot, with the Cart Decoration Competition at 3:15 pm and the parade beginning at 3:30 pm. Maps of the full parade route will be available online and in The Lodge flyer racks. Immediately following the Golf-Cart Parade will be our Saint Patrick's Day shindig with DJ Dave. We'll have dancing, games, the amazing "Twistify" balloon artist will be there to astound and thrill you with their amazing balloon art (not your kiddie birthday party balloons!). Mike from the Bistro is also going to be cooking up a corned beef and cabbage storm, so save your taste buds for those Irish options. Stay tuned to the Activities Blast for more breaking info. Obviously, don't forget to bring a pint of your favorite green or other colored beverage. What a fun time this will be! Karaoke will be on Saturday, March 18 at 5 pm. Be prepared to sing your heart out; perhaps an Irish melody is right up your alley? No matter what your favorite music genre, we can't wait to hear your selection! We still need you even if you're not interested in actually getting up to sing. Cheering audiences are always welcomed and appreciated. Finally, the Performing Arts Club is presenting their version of the game Name That Tune in The Lodge Ballroom on Friday, March 24 at 6 pm. Feel free to bring your dinners and beverages into the games and come ready to participate. There is no cost for admittance. This is going to be a fun month and I can't wait to see you around The Lodge!
