40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2023 Country Karaoke was a great time. People came out wearing their cowboy boots and hats and whooped it up with some really good country songs. February featured songs from the 60s. March karaoke will highlight songs from the 70s. As a reminder, karaoke is every first Tuesday and third Saturday of the month in the Ballroom starting at 5:30 pm. If you enjoy singing but have never tried karaoke, don't be afraid to come out and push through your fears. You will be happy that you try and will gain confidence. For info, please call me at (909) 712-2292. ~ Dave Rohrbacker, dave.rohrbacker@icloud.com Karaoke I believe 2023 will be a great fun year with all our events that are scheduled. Please watch for them in the Activities Blast, and flyers available in The Lodge. You are welcome to attend the monthly meetings, with the next meeting Monday, March 13 at 6 pm in the RCN Main Room. You do not have to be in the shows, all individuals interested in the Club can enjoy our meetings with socializing and my air popped hot popcorn for snacking. Besides general business, Pat usually has something fun planned with audience participation. We have a cast of over 40 for the May show, Remember When Rock Was Young. There are singers, dancers, group numbers, a band, and narration. You should recognize many of these hit songs from the 50s and 60s. There is always a need for volunteers for the various duties required backstage and to get ready for a show. SAVE THE DATE: March 24 at 6 pm in The Lodge Ballroom, Name That Tune. It's a fun multi-media game night of music nostalgia from TV, movies, and Broadway. You will be competing as a group against other tables. You may even win a raffle prize! Always bring your favorite beverage and snacks. Look for the flyer in The Lodge. We are always looking for new volunteers familiar with audio visuals, ie. lighting, sound, etc. There will be sound equipment training on March 8 at 1 pm if interested.
