So here we are in March and it is time for our first quarter
tournaments, which are scheduled for the third and fourth weeks of
this month. Singles are the third week followed by Doubles in the
fourth week. Bring your "A" games, folks. Our first quarter social
event is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29 at 5 pm. This event
consists of dinner at The Bistro followed by dessert at a member's
home. A very busy month for our club. Our club consistently
invites others to join us and we welcomed a new member in
February. It's kind of funny, but he said the same thing we all did
when we joined, "I haven't played in years." I'm sure he will do well
in this month's tournaments.
With the rain subsiding, it
looks like we are in for a great
summer of playing one of our
favorite sports. As I always do,
I invite you to join us. We play
