Solera Rememberance Sharon May Berry October 19, 1942 - November 14, 2022 Family and friends celebrated the life of Sharon May Berry on February 4, 2023, in her community of Solera and Oak Valley Greens. Sharon and her husband Ron moved to Solera in 2015 from San Bernardino. Sharon was born in Wichita, Kansas. She was the fourth of seven children born to Marie Sophia Millsap and Verele (Bill) Moses Millsap. The family moved to San Bernardino in the mid 40s. Bill Millsap worked for AT&SF Railway as a Locomotive Engineer stationed in San Bernardino. Sharon attended Saint Bernardine Catholic School, Arrowview Junior High, and San Bernardino High School where she graduated in 1960. Sharon was a very adventurous soul — she flew her husband's aircraft and sailed their boat in freshwater lakes in Topeka, Kansas. She also sailed their 44 foot troller in the San Francisco Bay. Adventurous, witty, and with a tremendous sense of humor, Sharon will be missed by family and friends from the shores of California to the East Coast. Sharon is predeceased by her husband Ron, her parents Marie and Bill Millsap, her sister Elphena Page, and brother Verle Millsap. She is survived by her son Dwayne Campbell his wife Kim and two grandsons, her sisters Judith Chavez and Linda Reddy, and brothers Charles Millsap and Jarold Millsap, stepson Dale Berry and stepdaughter Linda Fowles. She also leaves two granddaughters and a great- grandson. In addition, there are numerous nephews and nieces, grand and great- grandkids from her vast extended family. Sharon passed away peacefully at her home after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was surrounded by her family and her wonderful caregivers Bella Rojas, Joy Sawyer, and Karen Kaney who cared for Sharon 24 hours a day, seven days a week the last several years. Rest in Peace Sharon; you will always be in our hearts and minds.
