| LIFE IN SOLERA | MARCH 2023 | 3 FROM THE BOARD By Marcia Casem We held our first Town Hall meeting for 2023. The purpose of this meeting was specifically to identify Capital Improvements through our fiscal year of 2024. Also included was discussing items that need replacement. It was noted that solar for the Clubhouse has already been approved by the Board. We want to thank everyone who attended and those who participated in the discussions. Below is a list of the items suggested. They are in no particular order of priority: • A storage box for Bocce Ball sets • New Bocce Ball sets • Corn Hole sets • Music in the Pool area • Audio in living room and Arts & Craft room • Solar water heater for pool • Solar lighting around the pool • Waterless urinal • Automatic flushing toilets • Higher toilets in Clubhouse • Cover for Sport courts • Automated system to enter the fitness center • Motion detectors for lights throughout the Clubhouse • Fob/card access to Clubhouse • Shade Sails, firepit, more tables, chairs, and lighting in Patio area between the Library and the Pool area • Make sure phones in Oakmont Room and pool area can call 911 and have an intercom connection to the office • Notification of upcoming Private Parties are posted in Life in Solera A reminder that it is election time at Solera. There are three available Board positions open for a two-year term. Applications to run for a position must be submitted by March 6, 2023. This is for the term of 6-2023 through 6-2025.
