Don't forget to mark your calendars for June 5 through June 11, this
year's Sun Lakes Charity Week.
Charity Week started in 1991 as a two-day celebrity golf event, but
has evolved over the last 35 years into a week-long happening with
something for everyone.
2023 is going to be our $2 million year! Money raised by these
events is distributed throughout the year to help non-profit
organizations that improve our community at large. Have fun and
contribute to worthy organizations in the Pass Area.
Each event will have its own theme this year. The lineup includes:
• Monday Night Happy Hour at the Hop
• Tuesday Putting Golf Challenge
• Wednesday Pancake Breakfast followed by the Helicopter Ball
Drop
• Thursday Monster Scramble Golf Tournament
• Saturday Pro-Am Shootout followed by the Whiskey Barrel Bash
• Sunday Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Everyone will also have a chance to purchase raffle tickets ($10
each or three for $25); there will be five winners of $300 each.
Helicopter ball drop tickets ($10 each); there will be five winners
of $300 each.
You can buy a ticket for a chance to ride along in the helicopter
during the ball drop ($25 each or three for $60).
