REMINDER: Our next event is March 4 featuring Radio Flyers, for
those who have signed up and paid. Please, no drop ins without paid
reservations.
Our February get-together featured Generations and they were
beyond wonderful! It was only the second time one of our events sold
out and I'm sure that had something to do with these entertainers.
Many shouts from the crowd for one more and then another and
finally, "forget the food, keep playing." And a full standing ovation.
What a thrill it was to have such reactions from the crowd. The
performers promised to come back again and I'm sure we will hold
them to it. People usually make comments about enjoying our
entertainment but the comments for this group were overwhelming.

Come, join, or just visit our monthly gathering to socialize, enjoy a
catered meal, first-rate entertainment, and be pampered. It is for 80
year olds and better along with their spouses or significant others and
guests (no matter their ages). But you're welcome if you're close in
age as well. We do have people joining before their 80th birthdays…
I promise, I don't check your ID and we welcome you! You can attend
once without joining to actually give us a try first. We do have a good
time.
The April gathering will be on Sat., April 1 and our performer will
be Ed Avina. Ed hasn't been to our club for years so it will be good
to have him again. It will be at 3 pm in the South Clubhouse so don't
forget to get your checks to Donna Harrington at 5393 Riviera. The
deadline for the April event is March 26. Please make your checks out
to 80s Plus Club: dinners are $16 each and our dues are $10 per year.
If you haven't paid your annual dues yet, they are now due.
