January general meeting: The 26 members in attendance
prepared and shared a potluck buffet of Mexican-style food,
as well as classic and strawberry margaritas. There was flan
for dessert — and cake to celebrate November, December, and
January birthdays. During the business meeting which followed
the outstanding meal, Lourdes Lena was elected Director and
Patty Barille, Assistant Director. Teri Ochieano and Lakana
Burkett will continue as Secretary and Treasurer, respectively.
IDS has a deep bench of capable leaders, and we thank Lourdes,
Patty, Teri, and Lakana for stepping up to serve.
