Spring is here. For us RV owners, this is the time for us to do some
maintenance on our rigs. Out with the old pantry items and in with
the new. Carpet/floor cleaning and the usual spring-cleaning stuff.
For some, it's a time to do some preventive maintenance work on our
RVs such as oil changes and sanitizing our water tanks. Boring stuff
indeed, but a clean running RV is a happy RV.
Speaking of spring, our spring campout will be at Rancho Jurupa
Regional Park in nearby Jurupa Valley May 1-5. We will be staying in
the Cottonwood campground. For non-RV owners, there are cabins
on site that you can rent and still be part of the fun. We'll be going to
Ancho's for dinner one night, one of Riversides' favorite restaurants.
Plans are to have a breakfast bar one morning. Maybe we can get
Debbie Monroe to make us up a batch of her famous aebleskivers.
For our fishing friends, there is a fishing lake stocked with trout. This
is a very nice urban regional park with plenty of things to offer.
Planning is underway for the winter (2024) campout to be held
at The Springs of Borrego RV Resort in Borrego Springs, Calif. The
campout is Feb. 5-12. This is a full service RV resort with a golf
course, tennis courts, clubhouse, mineral pool and spas. For our four
wheeling friends, there are trails nearby. This is a must go campout.

On April 26, the RV Group will have a table set up for the Welcome
Committee's Social Gathering starting at 6 pm. We will have several
members manning the table. There will be plenty of informative
handouts for our new residents. Please stop by the RV Group table
