Communication & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) The Solera Oak Valley Greens Board of Directors created the Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) to research, develop, and improve existing and new communication methods for the community. To accomplish our goals, we are looking to modify current communication methods, if needed, as well as institute state-of-the-art technological solutions in an effort to keep all residents informed. Please note… in order to reach our goals, it is important that residents provide us feedback, comments, and concerns as well as completed surveys when asked. We want to hear from you! EXCITING PROJECTS that the CTAC is currently working on: 1. Constant Contact: a program that allows for distribution of informational emails and texts to all residents. • Email and texting features are up and running • For those that signed up, you should have seen recent messages regarding gate closures/repairs. The system works! • If you didn't receive messages, please contact David Paredes, our new Technology Assistant for Solera OVG. Also check to see if you have a spam blocker in place for your email and/or texts. 2. Bright Sign: Board-approved software and hardware project that allows community information to be displayed on televisions around the Clubhouse • Equipment is on order. Installation will be begin when all equipment has been received. 3. New website – HOA Sites: • Board approved the creation of a new community website using HOA Sites • The build will be done by David Paredes with input from CTAC. • A website usage survey was sent. We ask that residents please respond. The purpose is to determine if residents use the current website, which items are used most often, and gather ideas as to what new features residents would like to see. The survey form was available in with billing statement, in the mailroom and as a link in the weekly management email. 4. Flyer Racks & Tables: • CTAC is discussing options to remodel the racks and tables in the Mail Room. More information to follow. • Reminder… all flyers must be approved by Management prior to being added to the racks. For additional information on the Committee, go to www.
