| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2023 | 31 REMINDER: Our April event is April 1 and featuring Ed Avina, for those who have signed up and paid. Please, no drop ins without paid reservations. Our March gathering featured Fusion and Pizzazz singers which included three of our own members: Susan Fitzpatrick, Sandy Haines, and Bruce Dills along with Nancy Ford. There were some unfortunate technical difficulties which they had to overcome before they were able to sing but then they shared several numbers from their great repertoire. We heard Chattanooga Choo Choo, Route 66, It Don't Mean a Thing, Bandstand Boogie, among others and then Nancy sang her iconic and fabulous Memories! Thank you to all of you — you really were terrific in spite of the audio system difficulties. Come join or just visit our monthly gathering to socialize, enjoy a catered meal, first rate entertainment and to be pampered. It is for 80 years olds and better along with their spouses or significant others and/or guests (no matter their ages). But you're welcome if you're close in age as well. We do have people joining before their 80th birthdays… I promise, I don't check your ID and we welcome you!! You can attend once without joining to actually give us a try first. We do have a good time. The May gathering will be on Sat., May 6 and will feature one of our absolute favorites, Sheila and Larry James, or Jamestown. It will be at 3 pm in the South Clubhouse so don't forget to get your checks to Donna Harrington at 5393 Riviera. The deadline for this May event will be April 29. Please make your checks out to 80s Plus Club. Dinners are $16 each and our dues are $10 per person per year.
