Tap Dance Chorale The Chorale of Sun Lakes is open to membership for any Sun Lakes resident. The Chorale has five sections: Sopranos, Altos, Tenors, Basses, and Baritones. Practice sessions are held in the Main Clubhouse ballroom on Mondays from 9:30 am to 12:15 pm. Prior to each concert, additional practices for individual sections are held on Thursday mornings. Our 2023 Spring Concert Series, "There's a Song in the Air, Music From Broadway and Movies," will be held on Friday and Saturday, May 5 and 6 at 7 pm, and Sunday, May 7 at 3 pm. For 25 years, the Stardust Dancers have been entertaining in Sun Lakes at shows and recreation events. The group now specializes in modeling numbers and executes routines in a military precision style. They will be doing a military routine at our cart parade on July 4th. If your club or group could use a military prelude to your meeting flag salute, or modeling for a luncheon or fashion show, give this group of knowledgeable ladies and gents a call. Stardust Dancers Country Western Dance So far this year, we have learned (and probably forgotten a few) about 35 line dances. If we had announced back in September that we will learn that many dances, everybody would have given up just then. Line dance lessons for April will be on Mondays, April 3, 10, 17 and 24. Lessons are in the South Clubhouse from 6:30 to 8 pm. Come and learn a few more dances. Looking forward, we are planning another Dance Party on May 15. We usually consider this our "graduation." We will have some refreshments, decorations, and will be dancing to some of our favorites. Do you like to sing? Join our Barbershop Chorus! Sheet music and learning materials are furnished to help even the novice enjoy the experience. You can sing in this men's chorus or enjoy a quartet experience with three other guys.
