| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2023 | 11 Though April showers may come your way, they bring the flowers that bloom in May and if it's raining have no regrets because it isn't raining rain, you know, it's raining violets! Does that sound familiar? It's an old song you younger kids at Four Seasons may not remember but it brings back wonderful memories for me. The past three months were cold, cloudy, dreary and rainy, BUT, one afternoon God saw fit to add a stronger, colder air that delivered the most glorious large, fluffy snowflakes floating their way to earth. The hills were alive with a soft white covering of snow but alas, no sound of music. It was almost blinding when the sun shown on the nearby mountains radiating the bountiful accumulation of snow that will help refill our water needs. Thank you and Amen! I hope you didn't miss that awe-inspiring afternoon. We may not have an Easter parade, but Easter Sunday and our monthly Sunday Brunch happens to fall on the same day which is April 9. I'm sure Tracie Rodgers will be telling you about whatever fun and special Easter activity she has planned for the grandkids. Francisco will be here, as always, to personally create your omelet as well as adding Prime Rib and waffles to the buffet. There will be two group seatings at 9 am and noon. For those late church attendees who don't get out until noon, you are welcome after 12 pm, but please make your reservations and remember your table may not be reset exactly when you arrive and also – the buffet closes at 2 pm. The rest of April is rather quiet. So if you think you might get bored, give us a call and plan a small gathering; we'd love to hear from you. We are aware of the Railway Festival on the 15 and 16, and at this writing, no firm menu is in place. Francisco will have something available outside, so watch your eBalst notices when the time gets closer. It's taken three years, but Marjean Powers is a lucky second time winner for the Bistro Brunch for two drawing. Her ticket was drawn by Board of Director member, Mary Reyna, at the March BOD monthly meeting.
