54 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2023
Hello Four Seasons future pickleball players. In February, we had
our first kickoff of pickleball development classes which produced
44 new and/or curious players. It was a huge turn-out for "newbies"
and seasoned players alike to learn about the game and hone their
pickleball skills.
Classes continue for all levels on Saturdays beginning at 9:30 am.
Our club is growing by leaps and bounds, so I say, "You are never too
old and never too slow to try, try, try. Spring is in the air: blossom
and bring on your glow!" If you want to laugh out loud while chasing
a little green ball with 40 holes in it, meet your neighbors, and share
your curiosity of this game and remember this: 10 or 20 years from
now you will be more disappointed by the things you DIDN'T do
than the things that you DID do. Throw off the bowlines: sail away
from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails (and for
some — hair!). Explore, dream, and discover! Get out of the kitchen
to see how we pickleballers "stay out of the kitchen" — leave your
spatula home for a paddle on the court. Laugh, laugh, and pickleball
on! See you on the courts. ~ Karen Reed kbfini@gmail.com

We separated the bogus ping pong players
from the real ping pong players last month
when the snow storms hit The Courts.
Three of the intrepid players who braved the
cold winter snow to get to ping pong were Niles
Sundstrom, Soo Lee, and Pete Antoine (pictured
at left). We can't promise you snow if you come
to play ping pong, but we can promise you a fun
time with friendly people.
Come give it a try. We play Mondays through
Saturdays from 2 to 4 pm at The Courts. For
more information, email me at nilstrom@
gmail.com. ~ Niles Sundstrom
