FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2023 41 These amazing women who attend "Believe…" Women's Bible Study are intelligent, spiritual, Bible-savvy, and funny. We go from laughing out loud at some of their comments to shedding a tear or two when they speak from the heart. This is an interactive study, so opinions and comments are always welcome. We will almost complete our study of Proverbs by the end of March. I say "almost" because we will be having an Easter (Resurrection Day) lesson on April 7 and will complete the 31st chapter of Proverbs on April 14. Whew! Some of those "pithy" statements in Proverbs were difficult to understand, yet everyone had a chance to rephrase the ones that were most obtuse. We have all learned so much about this book which was compiled by King Solomon and King Hezekiah, and many notes were taken by our members during the study. For any of you amazing women out there who are awaiting the next series, we are so excited to begin studying the Book of Acts in the New Testament beginning April 21. It would be a great time for you to join us for this study. Actually, any Friday at 10:30 am is a wonderful time to join this outstanding group, no matter which version of the Bible you have, or how well you know the Bible and its many messages. All ladies are welcome at any time. We meet in The Lodge Game Room every Friday at 10:30 am and always look forward to greeting new members and each other as well. Hope to see you there! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine, (951) 922-6829 or egcellent@msn.com "Believe…" Women's Bible Study Life After Loss Formerly the Bereavement Group Spring can be looked upon as times of renewal and hope. What does that mean? Renewal is about trying new things and maybe starting a new ritual or routine. It is about getting rid of the clutter in our homes and in our heads. This process may be challenging for those who are grieving. You may be able to start renewing and decluttering depending on where you are in the grieving process and where you are in figuring out what your life is going to look like now. If you have a more recent loss, you may not be ready to try something new. You may not feel very hopeful about what you will do next or what the future will hold. It is very important at all times, but especially while grieving, to be kind to yourself. But it is also a time to be kind to others. Being kind to yourself means doing the things you want in the way you want. Be with people who make you feel better, not worse. Sometimes giving and getting a smile in return can turn around your day. Wherever you are in this next phase of your life, the Life After Loss Group is here to share experiences and talk about how they are feeling, getting through the day-to-day, and choosing how they want to live their lives now. You are always welcome. We meet on the first and third Mondays of the month from 1 to 3 pm in the RCN Room 3.
